Mikayla grew up on Cape Cod, spending her summers sailing and later competing on the Boston College sailing team. During her senior year at BC, she met Nick, who had just moved back to Boston after living in New York City. Despite the distance, they began a relationship and spent more than two years traveling back and forth between Boston and New York — rarely missing a weekend together.
Nick grew up in Westford, MA, where he played both basketball and football at Lawrence Academy before committing to play basketball at Bates College. Both pursued careers in finance, with Nick in private equity and Mikayla in investment banking.
Following years of weekend trains and flights, Mikayla moved to Boston to be with Nick, and not long after, they got engaged. Less than a year later, their careers brought them back to New York City — this time together.
Cape Cod has always held a special place in their hearts, and they are so excited to return to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by their closest family and friends.
